Existing translation memories will be removed from the project settings, so the plugin should be used before adding any existing translation memory.</div><div><br></div><div>How to use:</div><div><br></div><div>1.- Right click on the Studio project that you need the main translation memories for.</div><div>2.- Click on the new option "Create Main Translation Memories"</div><div>3.- (Optional) Enter a name for your main translation memories or leave this field empty.</div><div>4.- Click on "Create" and a main translation memory will be created for each of your project languages and it will be added to your project settings automatically.</div>

DSI Viewer

<p><em><u>The Problem</u></em></p><p>One of the benefits of working with Studio is that it is unique amongst CAT tools in providing Document Structure Information that can be used to help provide additional context when translating. The downside of this feature is that you have to actively click the DSI column to see this information for each segment and you can't work on the translation while it is being displayed. The same thing goes for comments which can only be seen by scrolling through the comments view.</p><p><br></p><p><em><u>The Solution</u></em></p><p>The <strong>DSI Viewer</strong> solves this issue by providing you with a small viewer that you can position somewhere convenient on your screen and this displays the DSI information and comments for every segment you enter without you having to click anything.</p><p>Very handy when working with DITA files, custom XML files or even SDLXLIFF files that have been exported from SDL Passolo (these contain string IDs that are very useful when translating).</p><p>It's also particularly useful when working with Bilingual Excel files as these support the ability to add information from the Excel file to the Document Structure Information and/or comments.</p><p><br></p><p>To learn how to use this application, please visit <a href="https://community.rws.com/product-groups/trados-portfolio/rws-appstore/w/wiki/5563/dsi-viewer" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>DSI Viewer </strong></a> in the RWS Community wiki</p>

Delete Language Specific Target Files

If you sometimes have multilingual projects where certain source files only need to be translated to some of the languages in the project you may find this app useful.<br> The app is launched from the projects view in Studio (simply right-click a project and select <strong>Delete Language Specific Target Files</strong> on the menu) and allows you to delete target files you do not need/want by unselecting them in a clear overview.<br> You can either manually select/unselect files one by one or do it by matching language codes in the name of the files (when such language codes have been used to specify what language a file is to be translated to). After deleting the files you can analyse and process the project as usual.

Delivering MultiTerm
