The standard feature set of Passolo doesn't offer functions to export TBX and XLIFF and to import XLIFF, TMX, TBX or Microsoft glossary files as translation memory or terminology database.

The add-in Data Exchange for Passolo is a versatile utility that exports and imports various file types. It is the successor of the Glossary Importer for Passolo which is discontinued. It provides the following features:

• Export of standard XLIFF 1.2 files to be translated in external translation tools
• Import of translated XLIFF 1.2 files that were previous exported from Passolo
• Export of TBX files with various options. 
• Import of multilingual TBX files and conversion into Passolo glossaries (GLO files).
• Export of TMX files with more options and meta data than the standard Passolo TMX export.
• Import of multilingual TMX files and conversion into Passolo glossaries (GLO files).
• Import of Microsoft glossaries and into Passolo glossaries (GLO files).
• Importing and repairing CSV files, previously exported with the Customizable Text Export, but then damaged while translating them with external tools

Once installed, you will find the Data Exchange Utility for Passolo as an Import and Export add-in integrated into the user interface of Passolo.
