To generate an assessment of your translation, Trados Copilot - Smart Review uses the Azure OpenAI Large Language Models (LLMs) such as gpt-3.5 or gpt-4 while at the same time considering, as point of reference, confirmed translations from the current document or similar Translation Memory matches.

Trados Freshstart

Trados Freshstart is a godsend for anyone participating in the Studio/MultiTerm Beta program, and it's also very handy for support engineers, help desk specialists and also individual users. The idea is the application provides an easy way to reset all the user files in a couple of clicks without having to navigate through folders, making sure you have the right permissions etc. The application also provides a useful description of what each of the users files contains. This is particularly useful as it will help you to understand what data is held where and what the impact might be if you reset these files.There is a restore function if you make a mistake, but generally none of the operations are fatal! To install, download the zip file to your desktop. Unzip it and place the MSI file onto your desktop.Now run the MSI installer by double clicking it.Once installation is complete, you will find the start icon on your desktop which you simply double-click to run.You must have admin rights to run this application! Trados InSource!

Trados InSource! is for the professional version of Studio only, because it uses the project automation api. The basic functionality is the automatic creation of Studio projects, based on translatable files being dropped into watch folders that are defined by you.You can have as many watch folders as you like and these can be local on your computer, or in Dropbox, Google Drive or any other location you wish to use.Each watch folder has its own project template, so you have good flexibility in being able to automate the project creation process for different clients/domains.

This plugin provides a new Studio view from where you can search and navigate jobs posted on the <a href="https://www.proz.com/translation-jobs/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Proz -jobs</a> website.You can filter on source AND target languages as well as different job types such as translation, interpreting or potential. Besides filtering the results, you can also search on various terms across different ProZ fields.The first 50 jobs will be returned and you can then navigate using the next and previous buttons.Once you find the job you're interested in you click on the link from Studio and you'll be taken to the relevant website to find more details and see how to apply.Once installed, restart Trados Studio and you will find Jobs as a new view which you can select on the bottom left-hand side of the interface.

About Trados Studio 2019 introduced "Tell Me" which is a great feature for finding features in Studio. The QuickInfo plugin does just that by extending the default "Tell Me" functionality to provide various useful bits of information such as unit conversion, maths calculation, airport codes, Unicode description and more.
