This zip archive contains the European Union AutoSuggest dictionary English US - Italian. AutoSuggest editing is an optional feature within Trados Studio which can be used to speed up translation by suggesting words and phrases in the target language that start with the same characters of words as you type them. Just download the zip folder, unzip the enclosed .bpm file and use it within Trados Studio by adding it in your project settings. Once installed, in your English (US) to French translation project, go to project settings and then Language Pairs followed by All Languages and then English (US)-> French. Here you then need to click 'add' and select the AutoSuggest dictionary that was downloaded. You must have a TM that is at least 10,000 translation units minimum to generate the AutoSuggest dictionary.

Delete Language Specific Target Files

If you sometimes have multilingual projects where certain source files only need to be translated to some of the languages in the project you may find this app useful. The app is launched from the projects view in Studio (simply right-click a project and select Delete Language Specific Target Files on the menu) and allows you to delete target files you do not need/want by unselecting them in a clear overview. You can either manually select/unselect files one by one or do it by matching language codes in the name of the files (when such language codes have been used to specify what language a file is to be translated to). After deleting the files you can analyse and process the project as usual.

The downside of this feature is that you have to actively click the DSI column to see this information for each segment and you can't work on the translation while it is being displayed.
