Filetype for Wordfast TXML

<p>TXML documents, as generated by WordFast Professional. Documents may be untranslated, partially or fully translated.</p><p>Once installed, you will find that WordFast TXML will now be listed under File Types in the project settings of Trados Studio.</p><p>If you install the filetype and then don’t see it in your list, or you think the installation was too fast and it didn’t seem to do anything, then please go to Options -&gt; Filetypes and then look on the right.</p><p>It probably says "additional filetypes exist". Click that, select the missing filetype you installed and you'll be good to go.</p><p>To learn how to use this application, please check the <strong>Documentation </strong>tab.</p>

File type definition for TMX

<p>Use this app to open TMX files as translatable files in Studio.</p><p>This app is especially useful if you are working with people using Across technology. You can easily handle a TMX file generated in the Across tool, and then create a fully translated TMX to send back when you are finished.</p><p>This app works best with reasonably sized TMX files.</p><p>Once installed, you will find that 'Translation Memory eXchange' will now be listed under File Types in the project settings of Trados Studio.</p><p>If you install the filetype and then don’t see it in your list, or you think the installation was too fast and it didn’t seem to do anything, then please go to Options -&gt; Filetypes and then look on the right. Extract and Reinject Embedded Objects

The app will extract all embedded objects and picture files from a batch of Word DOCX documents in order to make them translatable in Trados Studio or any other translation memory tool. Pictures and other non-translatable objects are also extracted in order to be able to edit them e.g. using an image manipulation program. After translation is finished, the translated or edited objects are reinjected into the translated Word DOCX document. This zip archive contains the European Union AutoSuggest dictionary Italian - English US.<br /> AutoSuggest editing is an optional feature within Trados Studio which can be used to speed up translation by suggesting words and phrases in the target language that start with the same characters of words as you type them. <br /> Just download the zip folder, unzip the enclosed .bpm file and use it within Trados Studio by adding it in your project settings. <br /> Once installed, in your English (US) to French translation project, go to project settings and then Language Pairs followed by All Languages and then English (US)-> French. Here you then need to click 'add' and select the AutoSuggest dictionary that was downloaded. You must have a TM that is at least 10,000 translation units minimum to generate the AutoSuggest dictionary.
