Studio Time Tracker plugin for Trados Studio is a complete environment for tracking and maintaining the time that you are spending while working on Studio projects. It is fully integrated with the Studio API, allowing for full automation in tracking the activities as the user is working on the documents; quite simply, it tracks the time for you so you don’t have to!
It provides a rich interface covering all the requirements for maintaining the properties of the project activities (i.e. hours, rates, type of activity etc…) including integrated navigation & filtering.
Once installed, restart Trados Studio to find Studio Time Tracker as a new option in the navigation menu on the left side of the interface.

How to install the Plugin
- Download the app from the integrated studio within Studio interface

How to Use Studio Time Tracker
Setting Up Time Tracking
- Open Trados Studio and navigate to the Time Tracker view in the side bar.
- Select Studio Time Tracker Settings. Configure your preferences
- Inactivity Timeout: Define how long the system waits before pausing tracking during inactivity.
- File-Level Tracking: Enable or disable tracking for individual files within a project. Tracking Time
- Begin work on a project in Trados Studio. The plugin will automatically track the time as long as activity is detected.
Viewing and Exporting Reports
