This plugin is not supported. If it causes problems in performance, or doesn't work well it will not be updated. It's no longer possible to improve the way this plugin works. The recommended choice for grammar checking is the Language Tool plugin.
The Grammar Checker for Studio adds Microsoft Word grammar checking capability to the verification feature of Studio. No complicated setup, just install the plugin and run the verification batch task, or press F8, to use.
The check can also work in real-time indicating possible grammar errors as you work segment by segment.
The Grammar Checker relies on your installation of MSWord and supports grammar checking in the languages you have supported in MSWord.
Once installed, restart Trados Studio and go to the Project Settings. Under 'Verification', make sure that the box is ticked for MSWord Grammar Checker for the app to start functioning.
