Check your translation for style and grammar problems. LanguageTool Plugin is a verification module, which is used to check grammar, spelling, and linguistic errors in the translation. This plug-in integrates the LanguageTool grammar checker into Trados Studio and enables proofreading and grammar checking.  LanguageTool is an Open Source proofreading program for English, French, German, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Catalan, Spanish, Ukrainian and more than 30 other languages. It finds many errors and grammar issues that a simple spell checker cannot detect. To work with a local server you need to install JRE (Java) and download the desktop version of LanguageTool for offline use. Plug-in supports also online public and premium LanguageTool servers. No complicated setup, just install the plugin and run the verification batch task, or press F8, to use.The check can also work in real-time indicating possible grammar errors as you work segment by segment.The Grammar Checker relies on your installation of MSWord and supports grammar checking in the languages you have supported in MSWord. Once installed, restart Trados Studio and go to the Project Settings. Under 'Verification', make sure that the box is ticked for MSWord Grammar Checker for the app to start functioning.

This plugin allows you to retrieve translations from either Microsoft Translator or Google Translate (support for V2 and V3 - AutoML), with some interesting added features explained below.<ul><li>Options to perform a batch find/replace on the source text before sending to the MT provider as well on the translated text returned, using files with a specific XML structure to specify find/replace pairs. Use this feature to redact sensitive data from your source text or to improve the results.</li><li>Text-only option: gives you the option of sending and receiving text only, and no tags.</li><li>The default setting is to not re-send translated segments: only sends segments with a 'Not Translated' segment status; conveniently navigate through your document or review it without increasing your character usage.
