Introduction

Trados PowerTools aims to make the life of Trados Cloud administrators and power users easier by providing productivity and automation features that are not available in the standard Trados Cloud product.

The first version of Trados PowerTools is focused on monitoring and resolving failed tasks in translation projects. Future versions will add more features based on user feedback.

Failed Task Monitoring

Get full visibility into tasks failing in projects across your entire Trados Cloud account, without having to go to the project details of every project.

Resolve errors by retrying tasks, or skip task that are optional and will continue failing.

Search and filter across all task errors.

Failed Task Analytics

Get insights into the health of your translation projects with statistics on failed tasks.

Automated Rules

Define rules to automatically retry or skip tasks when they fail, or cancel files. Define which tasks a rule applies to by specifying conditions.

Copy Project

Quickly create a new project by copying an existing project, using all the same settings. The new project is created immediately. Just add files, tweak name or other aspects and start the project.

Technical Requirements

Trados PowerTools is compatible with all products based on Trados Cloud, including Trados Go, Trados Freelance, Trados Ignite, Trados Team, Trados Accelerate and Trados Enterprise.

Currently, only users with Administrator permissions can use Trados PowerTools. Based on user feedback, we will enable other user roles also.

Installation

Trados PowerTools is an add-on for Trados Cloud. Such add-ons need to be installed via the Trados Cloud AppStore.

To open Trados PowerTools in the AppStore now, go here.

Now, click Install. You will need to provide a CodingBreeze activation key. To obtain an activation key, sign up to the Free Beta Program.

Now, click Complete and you are ready to go.
