Introduction

Put the power of SYSTRAN automatic translation in your Trados Studio projects. With the SYSTRAN plugin you can get customized translations in Trados Studio, either from your SYSTRAN Pure Neural® Server or SYSTRAN translate Server on-premise environments, or from SYSTRAN Translate Cloud online service. Once installed, you will now find the option to choose SYSTRAN for Trados Studio as an MT provider to use in your translation projects.

PROJECT SETUP USING SYSTRAN

• Once installed the SYSTYRAN plugin appears in the list of Automated Translation provider
• You can then connect to your SYSTRAN Server or use SYSTRAN API to use it on your project
 SYSTRAN PLUGIN SETTINGS
• The CMLess Trados Studio plugin includes some advanced settings that are global to all projects on the host system.
• To access the advanced settings, on the SYSTRAN settings dialog, double-click on the gear icon in the SYSTRAN plugin setup window.
• You can adapt the configuration in settings (including NFA (Neural Fuzzy Adaptation) activation)

SYSTRAN TRANSLATION PROFILE SELECTION

• You can select one or several translation profiles and the expected language direction
• Translations may be done for projects with one or more target languages. In all cases, only a single SYSTRAN provider is needed.
• Once defined, your connection details can be easily reused next time

MATCH CUSTOMIZATION

• Adapt the match conditions to be used in the translation project
• Pre-translate match value will consider TMs that are fuzzy matches down to the specified threshold.

SYSTRAN AUTOMATED TRANSLATION RESULTS

• Once you have configured a service and performed the translation, you can view the translated results using the Editor view of your SDL Trados Studio project
• You will automatically get Automated Translations (AT) whenever you click on a translation unit that hasn't been translated by 100% match against translation memory nor by fuzzy matching or other means.
• It is possible to redo a translation within an existing project, which means you may add a reference to the SYSTRAN plugin after the project has been created and initially processed. In addition, you can protect some segments from the updated translation by locking those segments
