The Language Weaver connector for Microsoft Office Desktop enables Language Weaver customers to to use MT directly within legacy Office desktop applications: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Compatible only with Windows desktop version of Office.

Changelog:

  • Word Only: when translating the full document, send the complete document to Language Weaver, instead of extracted text. This ensures identical results in the add-in and the web interface. It can also improve the quality of the output, since the server uses the latest file filters.
  • cancelling a translation also cancels the connected server job.
  • Fixed: users in a role that has no dictionary privilege got an error message after a successful login.
  • Fixed: some azure SSO logins didn't connect
  • Fixed: in side by side display, the windows could be the wrong size or zoom mode
  • Fixed: Excel: selecting a whole column caused a crash
  • Fixed: in some setups, users has to log on again each 24 hours. The add-in now automatically renews in the background.
  • silent installs allow to send only a user in user/password setup. (Edge only)
